Third Reich Tour

Explore the dark side of Munich's history. Follow the birth and development of Nazism from the first mass meeting at the Hofbräuhaus to Hitler's failed putsch at the Feldhernhalle.

Following Germany's defeat in WW1 and its humiliation at the hands of the victorious nations, Munich found itself in the grip of hyperinflation and destabilised by revolution and assassination. Out of the fertile soil of this chaos rose the Nazi movement and one of history's most powerful and brutal dictators—Adolf Hitler. See all the major sites and let your guide fill you in on all the facts behind a dark chapter of history which ended with the city in ruins.
